Elucidation of the subunit composition, energy coupling, structural organization and regulation of macromolecular transport complexes represents a major challenge. Here, we will study structural and mechanistic details of ATP synthases, the MHC I peptide-loading complex and the protein translocation machinery of eukaryotic cells.
