2nd Internal Symposium “Research in Molecular & Cell Biological Sciences”, March 24 - 25, 2011, Location: Campus Riedberg, Lecture hall H1, Goethe University Frankfurt/Main, Germany.

The 2nd internal symposium “Research in Molecular & Cell Biological Sciences” for young scientists (graduate and post graduate students) in the relevant fields of research takes place on March 24-25, 2011 at the Campus Riedberg, providing a platform for the interdisciplinary scientific exchange of knowledge and methods as well as the early development of networks of young scientists in Frankfurt.

It is our aim to establish the symposium as an traditional yearly event. Although the event will be organized by the CMP and the graduate programs TRAM, GRACE, IMPReS, and the RNA GaKo the symposium is open for all young scientists of the Goethe University and the Max-Planck-Institutes. The lectures will be given exclusively by graduate students and postdocs.

Subsequent to this Symposium there will be a workshop on Friday afternoon (25.03.) at 2pm about Scholarly publishing. It will be given by Rob van Daalen (Publisher Physical and Theoretical Chemistry, Elsevier) , Werner Mäntele (Editor Spectrochemica Acta A) and Arthur Eger (Customer Development Manager, Elsevier) and it will also take place in H1.
